HAHAHAHAHA neglect.

I think I'm even better at neglecting things than I am at holding a pencil straight. Actually! It's way up there on my list of fabulous talents, along with procrastination and just waiting for someone else to do it...there's never anyone else though. But, y'know. I'm patient 8D I'll sit by and do absolutely nothing for days, if that's what it takes.

That's commitment.

SO. I didn't do the advent thing because...well, there were more important things that required my attention such as those things mentioned above and my general 'will do anything but what she's supposed to be doing,' view on life.

ANYWAY, when I'm not dying the slow death over my lightbox (studio and at home) I like to SLEEP. I recently ran out of animation paper while working on Brain Damage scenes at home, so OBVIOUSLY I was free to do something else :3

This is what I did.

It's called sloanefacesmall.png because her name is Sloane and it's her face and it's the small, upload friendly file instead of the big bastard original. Yeah, I've decided that whenever I'm asked 'but what does it mean, what are you trying to say with this?' about any of my work, I'm going to be an absolute dick.

AH USED COREL PAINTAH for the first time ever with this slag, eh. Hmm. I'm undecided about it, I'm not really a 'painterly,' painter type...my general course paintings were of Brain Damage bitches with chainsaws and dismembered hands :3. Still, I'll persevere...I might get good.

Totally how I imagine my Skyrim character...raping and pillaging and raping and pillaging and getting over encumbered with all the raping and pillaging. Hate when that happens.

Here's another. This is Rook and she belongs in the same universe as Savvy. She also works for Savvy (note the bag she's carrying), and no her face isn't shaped like a gas mask, that's an actual gas mask. AND...

well she just goes around the wasteland on the surface of earth (mass desertification yeaaaah!) and collects whatever stuff Savvy puts on her shopping list. Rook supplies Savvy's black market and since the atmosphere of Earth is dangerous (in her universe) she has to wear a gas mask when venturing out beyond the...eh.

And she spray paints her name places...she's been, to help build up a 'map,' of the places she's been etc.

Clothing - Beetlejuice inspired. And she likes to decorate her gas mask with creepy expressions.

SAVVY!

So people are doing this crazy thing where they draw something for every day leading up to christmas? Dey got them some themes and stuff, and I decided I might give it a go too. I don't really have a theme, other than;

I'm going to draw 25 (maybe) people that are living in my head. Or 25 drawings of people (I might do the same bitch twice...D:). By doing this, maybe I'll get better at doodling some doodles and by the end of it I might even have me a good selection of character designs to stick into a portfolio.

I'm a little behind, but shut up. I was doing my dissertation.

Anyway. While sitting up all night long setting up my dissertation for printingz, I got the sudden urge to do something else (like draw). I usually only ever draw gold when I'm supposed to be doing something else. I also really like Adam Hughes work, and figured it could be that 'realistic,' style games companies might be talking about when they...talk about it. And then I decided it's probably about damn time I started drawing like that, figured that...I'm 21 years old and should be like Hughes (even though he's super older).

SO.  Here's the result of me being 'realistic.' and channelling my inner Hughes;

Diz bitch is called Savvy. She lives in my head with a bunch of other cats you'll be meeting over the coming days and weeks. I have a thousand stories living in there too, and Savvy's is as badass as all the others. She lives in a dystopian wurld (do not groan) but she's not a soldier or some kid fighting in a battle royale type rip-off. Nay.

She owns a shop, and this is how she appears in my minds eye. Shut up about the hand, look at the rest.

Oh yeah, facts about her costume. Those black things on her arms are rubber gloves, cuz she tinkers with electrical shit and doesn't want to get zapped.That hairstyle, is a mullet, because like a mullet, Savvy's business up front but (wink wink) party in the back.

And yeah, I named her myself.
